D: II

Walked all the way to the Doctors and back today.
About 40min journey on foot in the snow and ice.
Haven't started working on my essay yet today.
However, I did just make a cheese and leek omelette, which was awesome.

If you are on Facebook please take a look at my event:

FIIIIISH

Here are some doodles/sketches as promised.
I have an essay to write at the moment so I might not be able to post for about a week, but we'll see what happens.
doodle in lecture; Dickens and Cruikshank? Pointy faces!

A rough for a one-day project; the rocks and mill are on the wrong side.

Flatfish are just plain mutated and freaky

Broken Boot

Went to Birminham today on a trip with my class to the sea life centre.
Took a few photographs on my phone, but I forgot my proper camera.
Will post some of my sketches asap.

Books I bought in the comic book shop.

The state of my right boot by the end

Freezing Fog

Luckily the boiler was fixed this morning.
However, this freezing weather is continuing.
The last couple of mornings I've been taking some photos on the way to uni on my phone.
The frozen spiderwebs everywhere look amazing.
If you want to see them all; click here to see the set on flickr.

Boiler Breakdown

Yeah, the boiler broke again.
It's so cold in my bedroom that I'm wearing my labcoat and my hobo gloves - inside - casually.
Did some Postsecret style sketchbook stuff last night.
Here are some of them and the rest will be on Sea in a Sieve

CTRL

Today I spontaneously decided to buy a book of seaside animals and a book of birds.
Well...they may come in useful at some point. Maybe.

I also did this doodle. Still messing around with my inks.

First

Hello!

Just a little message to say that this is my new blog which will just be for me and may or maynot be more serious than Going To Sea In a Sieve.
Also I would like to point out, for those of you who don't already know, that the titles of the blogs come from the work of Edward Lear. ( here is this blog's namesake: http://www.nonsenselit.org/Lear/QLN/cb06.html ) You should definately google him or look on the above link. He liked birds and had an awesome beard at one point and loved nonsense.
